Search tips
Search by keywords or researchers screen
Keywords - You can look up search terms by clicking on Keywords and selecting items that you want. Selecting more than one term will expand terms (OR) rather than combining them (AND). To combine or exclude terms, enter the first term in the first Keywords box, select the AND or NOT radio button and enter your second term in the second keyword box.
Keyword and/or researcher
You can combine keyword and/or researcher searches by entering your keyword in the first keyword box, choosing the appropriate button (AND, OR, NOT) in the last set of radio buttons and entering your researcher in the second researcher box.
Limiting searches
You can limit search results by date, type of research or funding using the purple box. Enter dates as years [YYYY] or months and years [MM YYYY].
Running searches
Use the Search button to display the number of hits or use Search/display results to show your results.
Search results
Clicking on More will provide the full record. Data displayed as hyperlinks will run a new search for all items with that term. You can select items that you want by ticking the Select box. When you have reviewed them, click on Display Selections to show only these items. This is useful for printing. Clicking on Back to Display will return you to the list.
